"Dad why are these pencils so fat?" referring to the carpenters pencil on the foor or the car. Her solution was if the person wanted thin or fat line you could turn the pencil around. good thinking! not sure calligraphy making out is needed on a building site. my thought was they might be easier to hold if you'd saw off a couple of fingers. YUK dad!!! ;)
