After spending the last month or so behind the computer, it is now time to go to the shop and make some sawdust.
I have decided to first build the wheeled excavator I modeled in sketch-up, and then made full size parts drawings in DraftSight.
Liebherr_924.jpg009-005-001.JPG202.png
The model will be scale 1:20, which means that the model is supposed to be about length: 500 mm, width: 150 mm and height: 250 mm, when displayed as shown in the 3D picture.
As this is my first ever try at building a scale model, or even a toy, I will obvious make a lot of mistakes along the road.
Ill try to do a WIP of the building process. Im sure I need a lot of help from you great builders along the road.
Thanks for looking.
Questions and opinions (con or pro) are welcome.
Please excuse if the writing doesnt make sense, as English isnt my native language.
More to follow.
And now, out in the shop.
