I got this fair neglected drop saw from a friend and bought an irwin 60T blade for it. he tried removing the steel guard for whatever reason. because it looks unsafe having it there i will be removing it as well. Any idea how to remove the blade? I don't have an angle grinder claw to fit it. I tried vice grips, clamps, everything. it won't budge. There is also no button anywhere to lock the blade while you undo it. Am I meant to keep the bit with the pins stationary as I undo the 13mm nut?
