Just got an email from a woodturner from New Zealand who is on an assignment at Abbot Point to sort out an engineering problem on site, and he wanted some pen blanks. Well I sent him off with some of the special stuff that you would never be able to get in nz and he left as a very happy chappy with promise of parcel of nz timbers in the mail when he returns home. He even had the hide to leave a large note on my work bench. I was more than happy to give him blanks as I have more than I could use in my lifetime. So it just goes to show that there are a lot of good people among the woodturners out there.
