I have been trying to make a decision on what DC system to buy and have narrowed it down to 2 units - CV1800 or the 3hp Carbatec cyclone (rated at 2,200 cfm). The Carbatec unit looks preferable from an installation and cost perspective however if it does not perform effectively (planning 150mm mains and single machine use only via blast gates) then it is false economy. I have found plenty of info in forums on the CV1800 but nothing on the Carbatec UB3100ECK unit. Does anyone have one of these units with advice on its performance?
