Hi all, just new here and I need some help. I've beenrestoring my Hercus model A over the last few months and have it almost readyto start earning it's keep with some hobby turning. It didn't have a motor whenI got it and after some searching I managed to pick one up. I have done somereading on how it's wired but I can't figure it.
The motor is a single phase reversible with a start and runwindings, I think that's what it says. I have a photo of the drawing on themotor, the power connectors on the motor K, AZ, A and EN and a phot of thepower board on the lathe, does anyone know what wire is connected to where?
Sparkies are at a premium just now, they say it could beweeks before I could get on due to the recent storms.
All I knowabout electricity is you turn the light switch and the light comes on.
I would really appreciate an help
Stephen
