I have sadly had to remove an old dead Olive tree that was supporting our grape vine and a friend came this week to cut it down and slice it into manageable chunks.
I'm told by a neighbour it's been dead for many years (at least the 4 years we have lived here) and the wood is well weathered and dry inside and has lovely markings. The logs (trunk & branches) range between 100mm and about 290mm in diameter.
Please see photos - one also shows my dog, Flint, who kindly stepped in to give some scale.
Pick up from Marrickville nr Sydney, NSW 2204
Let me know if you have any questions.
