Hi all,
this is my first foray into the forum.
Living on 200 acres north of Kyogle (beef cattle, Murray greys/ brahman bull)
i recently had a rose sheoak crash across my fenceline after cutting it off the destroyed fence it still had about 6 metres of straight timber approx 600mm diameter. I used my Alaskan to slab it straight down the middle in two lengths of about 2.5m.
my question: beautiful looking timber but how should i cut it up ? Is it any good as a slab or should i divide into smaller sections 4x4 or 4x2's any help gratefully appreciated
