Finally finished milling the altlantic cedar, I would have had more pics but am having trouble on the tablet. the tree was one nice straight tree but unfortunantly had to cut in 3 for transport, poor little 7x4 trailer. I also had to quarter the tree by hand due to mill capacity. But after a lot of back breaking work I Think I have a nice little haul of various size sections 4x4, 6x6, 13x5's and some 1&2" boards etc. the smell is absolutley delightful. I would dare say so far it is the most stable timber I have dealt with, not a hint of any sort of movement even thin rippings that have been sitting in the sun for days, some trees i have done split before they are taken off the mill :no:it is starting to color up some as it dries.
Thanks for looking
Cheers joel
