Raven

This is a half-size raven carved for a special order. The bird's head is turned slightly to his left. There is a standard square in the background for perspective. It is about 300 mm from tip of beak to tip of tail, carved from basswood, painted with acrylic paint. I'd call this a folk-art style, since no attempt was made to make the feathers realistic. It is difficult to take a photo of something that is black...
