A forum member asked if I would be able to source these clamps. The only similar things available in Australia that I could find are the fixed jaw opening products from Irwin and Bessey. The Irwin (100mm opening) from Bunnings retails for $14.90 while the Bessey (100mm opening, made in Taiwan) is available from Masters at $17.50. They looked like a good thing so I sought them out and ordered a limited quantity as samples.

These are made in Taiwan by a specialist tool manufacturing company and are a real quality product. Suitable for holding small and medium size parts for assembly of and gluing projects. I’m so impressed with them that I intend to place a large order.

- variable, infinitely adjustable jaw opening from 55mm to 145mm
- soft grip two component handles for firm grip and user comfort
- 40Kg load rating with variable clamping pressure – locks at the pressure you apply
- non-marring swivelling ‘grippy’ jaw pads
- extend each jaw separately by pressing the appropriate release trigger
- to close the jaws down simply push them in
- overall length of approx. 210mm
