I have a simple huon pine and leopardwood box in the works - planning my first attempt at flocking for the inside, and a danish oil finish.
My question is, what order is it best to apply? Can I get away with danish oil for the whole box, then maybe wipe on poly on the area that will be flocked to seal it, and then finally the flocking adhesive on top of that? Or should I seal and flock the inside, then try to apply oil without it spilling down into the flocked section?
