When I was playing with it today I noticed when positioned on the track and blade plunged, the blade touched the rubber strip on the track.
I wouldn't think this is normal, unless it is cut to 'size' during the first cut? I can't see an obvious way to adjust the saw on the track guide, if the norm is adjust it.
