As the story from Reddit goes, this fella's mum bought an old workbench from a deceased estate...
She wanted to use it as a bar cart type of thing. Got it really cheap and decided she didn't want it. I opened her up and...

...was blown away at all of the unopened and unused tools. Theres a set of Two Cherries chisels, gouges and wood carving tools (all made in West Germany!). Theres loads of carving tools, 3 water stones, a mallet, honing guide, shave hook set, router bits, counter sink set, 2 crystolon utility files, and more random stuff. The only things that are used are a millers falls carving set and the shave hooks. Nice score for next to nothing! The bench itself is small and a little shakey, but it has two vices and can be easily unbolted and broken down. Theres also a stack of Sears receipts for everything from the late 70s or early 80s.
Life's just not fair sometimes is it ;)
