iv been messing around with the idea of trying to do some inlays
i was wondering what would be the optium depth to cut an inlay with some that has a resonable amount of detail
i tried 3 mm got a bout half way thru and pulled up think it was going to be way too deep
ned kelly.png this is the image in question that i tried, perhaps i am aiming way too high for a rank amateur like my self
my idea is to put inlays into endgrain chopping boards
any feed back would be greatly appreciated
