I have a steelmaster lathe. The lead screw appears to be 16tpi, which I gather is fairly standard.
The threading indicator has a 56 and a 60 tooth gear, along with the chart which shows which gear and which numbers to pick up various metric pitches.
My question though, is what about imperial threads? My guess, without actually calculating, is that there should be a 64 tooth gear. Can anyone confirm? Or provide any other information?
