Getting a bit sick of my cheap set of chisels from the big green shed, does anyone have any suggestions for a good brand of butt chisels? I am a bit slack about hand tools, so don't need anything really, really high quality. They will mainly be used for minor clean up and things like hinge mortises in boxes.
Carbatec has a couple of sets going - 4 Pfeils for $150, and a special on a set of 6 Irwin marples for much the same - anyone have any experience with them?
