One job was to repair an old door that had been forced. It is made from old red cedar. I was bought up calling it red pine in Adelaide. Whatever it is its soft. Always nice when you. An path with a mathing timber even if it is getting painted
It just so happened that I had some in the car. Fancy that
All glued in place and now trimmed to fit. All that remains is to cut through to the original mortice and recess the lock. Then screw in place
