Hi guys, so my shop vac has decided to call it quits on me and im just trying to work out what to replace it with or if I should replace it with a dust extractor.
The old one saw most of its use cleaning up the floor and and attached to a ROS and my cheap table saw. TS only has a 2" port so i'd need to do some mods if i went the dust extractor route. But then i'd have nothing to use with the ROS and other hand held tools.
So im thinking i should just replace the shop vac but happy to hear suggestions/feedback if thats the best idea.
Budget is kind of small (dont want to spend more than $400) so not really sure whats worth getting. Cheapest Festool looks ok and close to that budget but has a very small capacity. There's a Dewalt 30L for under $400 which doesnt look too bad either and has the L class rating (which is a step up from what i had before).
Appreciate any advice i can get.
Thanks
Monty.
