hi all, wondering if I can get an opinion on whether this is a good price?
I can get full packs of Standard Grade Ash in 100 x 50 (and two other sizes), all rough sawn for $1650/m3.
Packs vary in size, approx 1 – 1.5m3 each, random length 0.9m and longer up to 5.4 potentially. I'm told the standard grade will contain gum vein, maybe a little more cracking in some boards.
Is this a reasonable price? They're a very reputable vendor. I'll be using it on a continuous basis for painted kids furniture and the sizing will be suitable after I dress it.
