Hi all, looking into a few options with a reno project involving single brick walls where one side is exposed outside and the other side, which I plan to sheet, being the internal side of the wall. Can I sheet directly onto the single brick wall, if so, this would save me the effort of framing a new wall, leaving an air gap, installing weep holes etc. Since the windows are already installed into the existing brick, if I have to frame out a new wall and leave an air gap, I will be left with some very deep window frames, which I don't like the idea of.One wall has a few copper pipes running down it, I was thinking I could get away with installing steel channels say 25mm thick onto the brick and sheet onto this? Would result in a small air gap but would I need air flow into there?Cheers
