Drill Sharpeners

I am looking for a replacement drill sharpener that can handle drills sizes from 3mm-19mm or a bit bigger. My current one is twenty five years old,it is a plastic bodied one, similar principle to the Drill Doctor design. The problem with it is wear in the body/chuck so much so the results are worse than hand sharpening. Looking around it would seam that plastic bodied are all that are available unless you are prepared to spend well north of $1000-00. The 4/6 Facet Drill Sharpener designed by Gadget Builder looks like good design as a building project. Have any members built/are building one of this design?
