My first bandsaw; an old Ryobi HBS100 :o was recently donated to me. The drive bands are dry and cracked, and probably will not last long. Following advice on this site, I purchased a new 10mm 6tpi blade and the unit cuts well. Until I am confident in bandsaw use, I will use my "cheapie" before purchasing a better unit.
I live in Fremantle and would appreciate any advice re availability of parts, e.g. service/repair centre, drive bands, etc.
