Had a week off this week and decided to make some sawdust, We still had a few logs to process from a couple of months ago, I wanted to see what the BSM was capable of, so we dropped a big black wattle in it and proceeded to Mill it up, The throat is only 630mm so we had to cut and roll till we got a square billet, Finished board width was 450 mm. The BSM passed the Test!

The next Log was too Big for the BSM so we headed over to to the Lucas, The Log weighs 2500Kg, It is a nice stick of Bluegum , It was given to us by the Local Ag College after the Tree Loppers had done their work. Pulled some Nice Boards off it as well as a Couple of 900mm Wide slabs. It great to have Forklift around, The 1st slab weighed just over 250Kg.

This was the best therapy session I have had for a while, It's great to go and make sawdust and forget about the paying Job.
Cheers, Jon
