Please help with constructing a restaurant booth

Hi: I am trying to make a restaurant booth. I got all the dimensions I needed from the net and a few designs, but what I really can't get any information about, is the type of the wood used to built it. The booth will be all wood, so no padding, and would like it to be sturdy enough to last for years with very little maintenance. I found a youtube video by TattooedCarptener, making a restaurant booth similar to what I want to make, but he does list the material.
