Bluegum slabbed in November 2013 (see http://ift.tt/19jJzYx) then stacked and stickered (tomato stakes) with tension straps in sheltered carport every since as shown. The timber is rough sawn with chainsaw mill into 6 slabs (up to 700mm wide, ~2.1m long and ~50mm thick), 2 beams (freehand cut up to 240mm wide, ~2.1m long and ~95mm thick) and 2 boards (freehand cut up to 200mm wide, up to 1.4m long and ~50mm thick).
I split the pack today and wet each piece to photograph the timber that has individual sizes of each piece. It is all of similar deep red colour typical of Bluegum/Redgum with interesting figure. The timber has cracks, sap veins, sap voids and other natural faults but plenty to make a few tables. The faults can be cut out or filled with coloured resins to add more features to the finished product.
I am located in Melbourne at present with the timber strapped as a pack on to the back of my ute. Local pick-up can be arranged at either Tooradin during the week or East Ivanhoe on weekends. Delivery elsewhere in Melbourne can be arranged at a minor cost depending on location (please message for cost).
Listed on Ebay here http://ift.tt/19jJzYB with a starting price of $1000.00
Sorry, not willing to split the pack, i f it doesn't sell I'll be taking it back to Qld to make it into tables myself.
Cheers
