My name is Tim, I have been lurking through the forum for the last few days.
I am looking at getting back into woodwork with my girlfriend as a good way to do something together, as we both have a love for it. We both did woodwork at School and turned a few things out, but it has been a few years. Unfortunately for us, I work strange days away and can never predict when I will be home (Last year got told I was going to China for 3 weeks and got a days notice) hence not wanting to spend a huge amount of money on pre-paying for classes, and my girlfriend doesn't yet have a car. I was wondering if anyone on here could give us a quick freshen up on using a lathe and tools this week by any chance? I think I am heading home Tuesday morning and have to leave again on Friday morning. I could bring a bottle of wine or a 6 pack or something, what ever we need.
