I am wanting to try and build a Biesemeyer Style fence to go on home made table saw top. However I would prefer to doge the weight of steel. Therefore I was considering it in aluminum.
The clamping mechanism may prove too much for alloy over time, which would not be good.
Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations on using alloy in such circumstances?
