What is the best way to remove ticks from your dog and from yourself?
I remember once taking my son to the hospital to have a tick removed, and the young Pommy doctor didn't have a clue - he wanted to burn it off with a cigarette. That just irritates the tick and gets it to release more venom and toxins into the victim. Same affect if you squeeze the tick body with tweezers trying to remove it.
