Stamped Saw with Steel Handle Plate, nib, & Copper Rivets

My brother-in-law found this one for me. It has a steel plate on the handle with copper rivets. No etch, but I can see something stamped onto the blade -- it appears to be "10". Also, there's a nib, but it's much larger than others I've seen. Also, it looks like the toe of the blade may have been cut off -- can't tell for sure. The length of the blade is 23 5/8", which seems odd.

Anything ring a bell?
