New Laguna Table saw and Dust collector acquired

Made a detour on the way home from work, and after some haggling I am the proud owner of a new Laguna Dovetail 52" tablesaw with cast iron extensions, dado set and a Jet 1200 2hp Dust collector and workshop vac kit, both unused and still in original packaging for a sum equivalent to just under half the advertised retail. Very pleased with myself, just have to work out how to get it home, at 240 kg I need some young muscle to help out.

So the question I now have is what is the best thing to use to remove the protective coating from the table and extensions?
