Hi, I have cut a 12.0 mm slot 2mm deep around the perimeter of the lid of a box with a 12mm router bit.
I then made a number of 12 x 2.5mm thick pieces of inlay 500mm long from a 12 x 20mm board of Silver Ash. Unfortunately I forgot to check the 12mm wide board would fit the slot in the lid. Sadly, the inlay strips measure 12.1 - 12.2mm, and don't quite fit
Can anyone please suggest a suitable way to accurately reduce the width of the 2.5mm inlay strip from 12.2mm to 12.0mm?
