Making the above desk and has come time to attach the top small part to the lid. Was going to go with piano hinge. But I don't like the idea of there being a small gap between the hinge leaves when in the closed position. Is this how all piano hinges are or just the cheapies from bunnings?
If I want a perfect flush finished joint when closed is my only option to slightly inset the hinge so it is flush on the outsides?
Any other hinge ideas that would look ok?
