I was wondering if the knowledgeable people on this forum, could tell me what fittings, if any, will fit the 6" hose to fit 6"PVC sewage pipe.
I want to upgrade my system from 4" to a 6". I know I'll have to upgrade the inlet to my 2 hp DC to 6". Are fittings available or will I have to make a block to reduce the fittings (heat pipe and shrink in a tapered block).
I'm running a total of approx 10m X 4"PVC and 3m X 4" hose at the moment. Mainly for the wood chips from the lathe at the start, band saw inlet is approx 1m hose, from the Y connecting the lathe hopper, 2m vertical to a 90o bend then 3.5m across the shed to a T with a vacuum cleaner hose to the disc sander on the end, then 3m to another 90o elbow down 1m to a 45o bend approx 500mm 4"hose to a Y connector that collects the chips from the jointer 1m away. From the Y it goes into a 90o elbow into a 170 litre rubbish bin. Out of the top of the bin, a 90o elbow with a reducing connector for the hose, 1m of hose into the DC. Each connection to a machine has a 4" blast gate near the main inlet. Hope you can understand my layout. Would I be wasting my time to go 6"????
