I'm planning to extend the rear section of the house.
A section of the neighbour's wall is currently on the boundary with a timber window. My new brick wall most likely will be less than 900mm to the window, will this still comply with BCA 3.7.1.5 as it is the neighbour's window that is non-compliant, not my new wall ?
If the new wall is non compliant, is there any solution ?
Also to make existing single brick wall compliant, can I construct a new 300mm strip footing with timber frame and tie it to the bricks ?
