I had ordered some slabs a while ago which finally came to me a few weeks ago.
However, in this time, SWMBO and my girls have collectively managed to convince me that my time is better spent indoors tying pigtails to all the dolls and not in the workshop.
The quantity of timber that i received is far higher than what i will be able to do justice to in the coming 12 months.
So, Up for offer it is to anybody who will be able to put it to better use.
Varieties include Red Gum, Mango, Blue Gum amongst the varieties that i know that are in there.
Some of it is quarter sawn also.
Sizes include some as wide as 700 mm which weigh a tonne and will definitely not kind on anybody's back.
Most are 1.5-2.4 long, 40/50 mm thick and about 250-350 in width.
The slabs are semi seasoned, or more accurately in various stages of being seasoned, with some more than others.
I would like about $1500 per cube, but am happy to work around a little if somebody wants to get some higher quantities.
Pics attached for reference and can take more pics is anybody wants to see them.
I cant do a full inventory as it will mean a hell lot of lifting and the lower back has decided to throw its weight behind the idea of tying pigtails to the dolls.
I will be able to help load some of it into a car, but that will mostly be towards the end of the day when i am back from work or during the weekend.
You can view it most days, outside of school hours, as my wife is home on most days.
Cash at the time of pick is highly preferred.
Please note that this is not an auction and prices will be driven by the size of the slab.
