I picked up a secondhand Carbatec 12 thicknesser for $100, the belt had disintegrated so need to replace that but flipped the knives over and they're brand new :-)
Only problem is there is supposed to be a blade gauge on it which is used for setting and adjusting the blade but it's gone.
Is there a way to adjust the new blades without it? a certain amount of overhang or something?
