Managed to capture a couple of good in flight shots of the Australian Ibis.
I waited till the bird took off to press the shutter.
Only got one frame on each occasion and the focus was pretty much spot on.The focus failure rate on these type of shots is usually pretty high,must have been my lucky day to day.Would have liked a bit more head-room on the right ideally but am quite pleased with these.
Taken with 5D MKIII and Sigma 300-800, 1/3200 second at f5.6.
