I am in the market for a new combo jointer/thicknesser.
Right now I am looking at several machines, including the Woodman machine with Shear Cut Helical Head. I like the wide cut (307 mm) and the idea of a helical head (quieter) is appealing. Also looking at the Jet 310 mm machine.
Can anyone help with pros and cons of these machines ... or a recommendation of a different machine altogether?
