I've had to make the absolutely heart wrenching decision to give up my woodworking. My wife is terrifically sick and we'll need to move.
Up for sale today is my Sherwood 18" scroll saw. Its in good nick, a flat tabletop, a few new bearings here and there and zero rust. Included is a bunch of "bits and bobs" and 4 packets of blades in various pitches.
Its is a great saw. It was purchased off a forum member 2 years back. There is one bit of small maintenance that needs to be done, in that the adjusting arm to tilt the table could use a quick spot weld (its thin and looks designed to break). It is a trivial job. It has been like this since I bought it and only affects operation if one were to tilt the table, which I never do, so I haven't bothered with it.
I forgot to blow the dust off before photographing! It is perfect however, no dings, bangs, rust or grot.
Happy for inspection, local pickup (Mawson Canberra) or delivery via discount courier.
$100 outright.
