I intend to make a QCTP for my lathe. It needs either a CXA or CA size. Buying these is a very expensive proposition. I am not likely to get one for less than I paid for the lathe. Certainly they are more than I can afford.
Can anyone offer suggestions regarding a source for 60 degree dovetail cutters? I am thinking to go for about 40mm diameter. CTC has one, but it is only HSS AL
For cutting of Dovetail Slots in low Carbon Steel (useable in Machining Stainless at low Feedrate)
I am guessing I will not want to be restricted in feed rate for the amount of cutting I will need to do.
