Safest way to do 60 deg mitre cut?

I have to make some short pieces 100mm of 40x18, standing on edge and cut at 60 degrees. The best way to imagine the resulting cut is to put the piece on edge at 90 degrees to the fence on a drop saw, and set the blade to do a 30 degree mitre angle cut.

Can anyone please siggest a safe way of doing such a cut, on a drop saw or table saw?
