Hey guys,
I just bought my first welder on the weekend to perform modifications to my 4WD. It's a Lincoln 180C with gun and Argon/CO2 gas. I'm tying to learn as quickly as possible as I need to repair an engine mount bracket which is part of the chassis.
At the moment I'm practicing on protection plates with some scraps. The steel is around 2-2.5mm thick. I'm 0.8mm wire and settings around 3~3.5 (feed) and F~G (heat).
How does it look? Any tips?
Also, I haven't figured out the gas regulator yet. Does pressure make a difference to the weld?
Cheers
