What's a good size?
I have the cast iron brake drum we'll be using for the fire enclosure and a 900mm cast concrete ring to fill with concrete to stand the drum in/on.
I was thinking of a circle of compacted gravel about 1500 across with the sleeper seats just outside that.
What do other people find a comfortable distance
