Hi Guys just wondering what sort of allowances need to be made for resawing (bandsaw kerf), jointing and thicknessing.
For example if you wanted two 19mm boards what size rough sawn timber would you need to order? Obviously there is variations in blade thickness and how flat the board is to start with. But surely there is some "rule of thumb" when you go to the timber yard looking for stock.
