Hi Folks. I have just purchaed some Cypress Pine at a clearance sale. There are quite a few tree buts(short without stump) which I would like to cut into rounds to make cutting boards.Without using a chainsaw (which I have and could use but would have trouble getting even thickness) what wuld be the best way of cutting the buts into rounds. I have access to an Alaskan slabbing mill which i have used for slabing larger peices with the grain. Any advice greatly appreciated.
