A need to downsize has forced me to sell this Long BedVL300 with full electronic variable speed control. The lathe comes completewith a Vicmarc 120 chuck and the usual bits and pieces including several tool rests. I am keeping my turningchisels but there is also a couple of other accessories that I will advertiseseparately (50mm steady + 1000mm tool rest with extra banjo) alternativelyhappy to consider an offer for the lot. Apart from the inevitable staining onthe bed that gets thrown around from finish and stain it is in very good condition.The lathe is complete with top quality Fuji VFD controller. In operation thelathe runs as smooth as silk right through the speed range as you would expectfrom a couple of hundred kilos of Vicmarc. These lathes are getting harder tofind as they aren’t manufactured any more in the long bed configuration. Pickup is from the Sunshine coast, 100km North ofBrisbane. Alternatively I can transport the lathe to Brisbane if preferable orhappy to deal with any transport company arranged by the buyer at their expense.COD preferred or EFT if that makes things easier. I would prefer to not auction this lathe. Hence, this isan old style sale with what I have been advised represents a very fair sellingprice. $2750
