Spindle coolant additive recommendations

Hi there.

I recently got a 2.2Kw water cooled spindle up and running. For testing thus far I have used normal tap water. I would like to get some information on best practices and brand of additives available to use in AU. I have read that you should use distilled water and not tap water and that an anti-algae additive should be added to the water. I also recall reading somewhere that anti-freeze should be avoided as it can damage spindles in the long term.

Opinions please?
