well, the title is certainly true of bloody telstra 4g wireless internet. No 4g available here; so reverts to 3g then throws in and out of 'dual carrier' where there is next to no service. I can see the b.. tower 8 k's from my back door on a clear day. Grrr. Does anybody else have these problems with wireless internet?
But wait there's more. w.w.w. for classic car parts 2.5 months now.
Then there is the wait for the skin cancer op on the ear. At least the easier nose and forearm have been done. Ear is spreading and has to lose about half. Too difficult for here so off to Melb. Roll on the 14th and get it over and done with.
At least I have managed to get a few jobs done. Rear suspension and diff cleaned up, painted and refitted to the Stude.
Yesterday was a snafu and rewounded the nose scar on a bush whilst mowing the lawns. Oops!!
Today cleaned up some of the yard and this afternoon I got sick of the slow process making a half decent toe jack to get the Rossi mill off the packing timbers so decided to use the porta power. Now that's a w.w.w. effort using the "huge" 16mm or so lift ram. It was the only one to fit under the base with some creative packing pieces. All in place and the long knee lift screw lowers nicely into the "well" cut through the floor. Nicely down on it's new leveling feet and no further injuries. Hopefully I can get it leveled tomorrow.
Gee; doesn't one seem to get fatter, lazy and out of condition with a forced layoff.:)
