I manage a Cypress Sawmill in SE QLD and have decided to make some Cypress Pens for our customers. Its been about 7 years since i did any turning. I dusted off the old Hafco Lathe and promptly broke the variable speed pully so this was all the excuse I needed to buy a vicmarc. Anyway long story short I got a VL 150 and have started on the pens. A few pics of the progress and the forst finished Sierra. I am very happy with it, sanded to 600 with sandpaper then with the coloured pads to 12000 Finished with 10 coats of CA. Just have to fine tune the sanding as I can see some fine sanding marks.
